Who We Are
Our Story
JCM Racing is a racing team based out of Charlton, MA. Our driver Jase Mongeon has competed in USAC Quarter Midget racing in Sr Honda, Heavy Honda and Heavy 160 divisions. He has also competed in the INEX Bandolero Outlaw division and raced in the NELCAR series. Jase is currently competing in the Pro division racing an INEX Legend car on both Road Course and Oval tracks across the east coast.
From The Beginning
Ever since Jase was old enough to grab a steering wheel he wanted to be a racecar driver. If it had 4 wheels and moved he wanted to be near it.
Laying the Foundation
One of Jase’s favorite trips every year was the Auto Show in Boston. One year Doug Coby was there with his Modified and asked Jase if he wanted to take a picture with it and handed him his trophy. Jase talked about that the entire ride home.
When Jase was 12 years old he went to Apex Entertainment to drive go carts. After completing his races he was approached by the manager and was told that his lap times qualified him for an upcoming tournament. This was an 18 and over tournament but Jase was told he had proven himself capable in the car and was cleared to race with the adults. Jase finished 2nd out of 26 participants that consisted of many drivers that were actual auto and go cart racers. Jase missed first place by .04 seconds.
Jase's first real Racecar
After attending an Arrive and Drive event at Little T Speedway Jase was hooked. We bought our first quarter midget that very day, a Nervo 02 Extreme. This was his rookie car for the following year. After completing in Red and Blue Rookie he finished the year in Senior Honda.
